Hi, I’m Abeeb Oki, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s degree in Counseling & Development from Lamar University. Under the supervision of Saharah Shrout, MA, LPC-S, and Melody Celeste Osborne, MA, LPC-S, I am working toward full licensure as an independent therapist.
I believe therapy should be a personalized experience, one that reflects your unique story, challenges, and goals. My approach is collaborative and compassionate: I work alongside clients to co-create a treatment plan tailored to their needs, while building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your most authentic self and begin facing life with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, seeking healing, or just need a place to be heard and supported, you deserve to feel seen—and to know that lasting change is possible.
My therapeutic style is integrative and flexible. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and other evidence-based modalities to best support your progress. I work with adults, teens, children, couples, and families, always with the goal of promoting meaningful growth and emotional wellness.
