"From Insight to Action: Bridging the Gap Between Talk Therapy and Exposure-based Treatment for OCD"
Saharah Shrout, MA, LPC-S | Megan Pike, MEd, LPC-Associate | Abeeb Oki, MEd, LPC-Associate | Carla Wall, MEd, LPC-Associate
This program explores how approaches like reassurance, cognitive restructuring, and extended processing can unintentionally reinforce OCD. Through practical strategies and case examples, attendees will learn to recognize these patterns and transition to more structured, action-oriented Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) treatment.
We're proud of our team for sharing their expertise and helping advance awareness and understanding of OCD and anxiety within the counseling community.
We hope to see you there!
