Build a Career You Don't Have to Recover From

At OCD & Anxiety Treatment of Houston (OATH Therapy), we believe that exceptional client care begins with supporting the clinicians providing it.

Mental health professionals spend their days helping others navigate uncertainty, distress, and life’s challenges. Yet too often, therapists find themselves working within systems that leave little room for sustainability, collaboration, or professional growth. Burnout has become increasingly common across the mental health field, and many clinicians find themselves searching for a practice environment that supports both clinical excellence and personal well-being.

At OATH Therapy, we are committed to building a different kind of practice culture.

A Specialty Practice with Purpose

OATH Therapy specializes in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and related concerns. Our work is grounded in evidence-based treatment approaches, including:

We are passionate about helping clients make meaningful progress while supporting clinicians in developing specialized expertise in these areas.

Clinical Support Matters

Providing effective treatment for OCD and anxiety often requires ongoing consultation, collaboration, and opportunities for growth.

We believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported by a team that values learning and professional development.

Opportunities for support may include:

  • Consultation and case collaboration
  • Peer support and clinical discussion
  • Specialty OCD and anxiety training opportunities
  • Guidance with complex ERP cases
  • Mentorship and leadership development
  • Support in developing clinical specialties
  • Opportunities to contribute to program development

Our goal is to create a culture where clinicians feel confident seeking support, sharing ideas, and continuing to expand their skills.

OATH Therapy Philosophy

We believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported by a team that values learning and professional development.

Sustainable Careers Require Flexibility

Every clinician brings unique strengths, interests, and professional goals to their work.

We recognize that a sustainable career may look different from one therapist to another. Some clinicians thrive with larger caseloads, while others prefer a more balanced pace. Some enjoy working primarily with children and families, while others specialize in adults, couples, or specific clinical presentations.

Because of this, we strive to offer flexibility whenever possible, including:

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Hybrid scheduling options
  • Flexible caseload sizes
  • Opportunities to work with preferred populations
  • Autonomy in scheduling preferences
  • Support for work-life balance

We want clinicians to build careers that align with both their professional aspirations and their personal lives.

A Collaborative Team Environment

Therapy can be deeply meaningful work, but it can also feel isolating when clinicians are practicing without a strong professional community.

At OATH Therapy, we value collaboration, curiosity, authenticity, and teamwork. We believe some of the best clinical growth happens through consultation, shared learning, and connection with colleagues who genuinely care about the work.

Our team culture is built around:

  • Mutual respect
  • Clinical excellence
  • Lifelong learning
  • Inclusivity
  • Professional integrity
  • Meaningful relationships

We are committed to creating an environment where clinicians feel connected, valued, and supported.
